iPad Case Leaks Pulled By Order →
The leaked photos of rumored iPad 2 cases have been removed from several blogs by order. It’s unclear exactly who ordered their removal, but the blogs are saying that they were legitimately and legally asked to remove the photos… and not very nicely. This is exciting. If people are hootin’ and hollerin’ over some pictures on the Interwebs, they’re probably...

More iPad 2 Cases Lead to Rumors →
It seems like cases always lead to leaks in the world of mythical Apple products. This time, a string of leaked case design photos for the alleged “iPad 2” have been bouncing around the internet. All of these cases point to the new model having a flat back, extra speaker grills, and a mysterious new I/O port on the side.  The more rumors the better. I want an iPad 2, and I want it...

'Empire Strikes Back' Added to Library of Congress →
Apparently the Library of Congress keeps a film registry of what they think are important or monumental films in our country’s history. The Empire Strikes Back was added to that archive today. In short, today is a good day for America.

A Random Thought...
I just saw a commercial for the DVD release of Salt. It was advertising that the DVD has 2 alternate endings. I hate alternate endings. I’m a huge fan of every kind of behind the scenes feature and deleted scenes, but alternate endings are cop outs. They’re meaningless. The original end of the film is how the screenwriter, director, editor, and producer all wanted it to end. It was an...

SGU Cancelled After Two Seasons →
I’m surprised I haven’t blogged this yet. Big news from Syfy… they cancelled SGU. Can’t say I didn’t see it coming, but I was really hoping it wasn’t. The show was only getting better and better. There’s still 10 more unaired episodes to look forward to in the spring, but I have a really bad feeling about the season finale. If it ends in cliffhanger,...

WatchWatch
This morning, I took my last final exam of the semester. The semester is over. Along the way, I’ve done quite a bit of TV producing. My most recent project (and probably most fun) was Active Emerson, a one-time 15-minute workout show that I both produced and directed. It wasn’t stressful and was just a ton of fun. Take a peak (and then do the workout and burn a few calories along the...

Eastern Christianity in 'The Matrix'
I recently wrote a term paper about Eastern Christianity in The Matrix. It was an easy assignment for a not-so-serious class, but I really liked how the paper came together and I did well on paper. If you like The Matrix and thinking about.religious influences in pop culture, give it a read. I’m not going to clog up your Tumblr Dashboard, so click “Read More” if you’re just...
