Typography Blog →
I feel obligated to recommend this blog. Every day, they post an ampersand in a different font. It’s beautiful and simple. Follow it.

Stormtrooper Tumblr →
I’m old fashion recommending this blog to all of you! Every day, they post a picture of a stormtrooper doing… anything. It’s a lot of fun and it always brightens my Star Wars day. It should brighten yours, too… so follow him.

Here’s another TomTom Star Wars GPS ad. They’re both too good to justify not posting them both.

Another Year, Another Music Video
My high school video world was basically built around making lip-synch music videos. We’ve done quite a range of music and quite a range of different styles… but the next is something completely new: Taylor Swift. I know, I know. I can’t stand Swifty and everything about her (and cowboys and country music). My friend’s girlfriend really wants to make a Swift music video,...

Caprican Blog →
So this is actually pretty funny. I’m not a big fan of Syfy’s new Galactica prequel spin-off, Caprica. However, this blog is pretty hilarious. It pretends to be the Caprican newspaper reporting news about the 12 Colonies… approximately 50 years before the fall. If you’re a BSG fan, this is completely necessary to check out and chuckle at.

iPad Named in 1999 →
An old magazine article from way back in 1999 named an alleged upcoming (at the time) Apple device called the iPad. Seems like the rumor that iPad was in development long before iPhone is true.

“Artists should live outside the norm of society. It feeds their Art. But we...”
– tweeted by Lou Diamond Phillips I can’t explain why this quote fascinates me, but it does… so I figured I’d pass it on to my Tumblsphere.

I have these conversations during everyday life. And to prove how much of the stereotype I am, I really got annoyed at how ridiculously inaccurate some of the fake dialog they made up was.

Top 10 Battlestar Galactica Moments
As I’ve posted before, I’m rewatching Galactica with my dad this summer and I’m coming to appreciate it even more throughout the process of debating each episode with him. I get to relive the excitement of big plot twists as he experiences them for the first time and I anticipate great scenes several episodes before they come about. Here’s my list of what I think are the...

Inventors Wanted
This summer, I’m working for a yearbook company and am designing layout templates for local high schools. The software I’m working in is browser-based (yes, browser-based layout by Adobe), so I end up working on several computers over the course of the week. Each computer’s display is calibrated slightly differently. Obviously, we can invest in fancy color calibration hardware to...
