Stargate Universe: 2x02 “Aftermath”

I really don’t have the time or energy to write as thorough of reviews as I did for Season One, but I can’t not write something about “Aftermath.”

I was a bit wishy-washy about the season premiere, but “Aftermath” has got me newly excited about the rest of this season. It’s a prime example of the fact that the writers and producers are getting the hang of writing character drama. For a scifi show, not much of anything actually happened this week. However, I was glued to the episode and shocked at how stellar some of the dialogue was. Good job, guys.

ALSO, I’m literally counting down the seconds until “Awakening,” next week’s episode, to find out what Destiny is nearing. Could it have to do with the episode’s title and finally allow the crew complete access (and understanding) of Destiny’s systems? SGU is looking WAY up.
