Currently reading: Star Wars: Children of the Jedi by Barbara Hambly
I’ve read a few Star Wars novels but really started ripping through them this past summer. I read the Thrawn trilogy and the Jedi Academy trilogy and loved both. Now that I’m home for break, I figured I should pick up again.
Children of the Jedi is the first in a three-book cycle. It tells the story of the search for a lost colony of Jedi children that were hidden in the early days of the Empire. Meanwhile, Luke is trapped aboard one of Palpatine’s long-lost superweapons, The Eye of Palpatine.
I really love the premise, but am unsure of the plot so far. The story moves very slowly and is fumbling with the details. Hopefully it’ll pick up!
